Franklinton Arts District has been dedicated to introduce art to the community and connect the residents with art installations and establishments. Since founded, Franklinton Arts Districts had successfully organized two annual events: Urban Scrawl and Go West! for art discovering and experiencing. Starting from this year, FAD had partnered with Gladden Community House and Columbus Metropolitan Library to offer art education programs for the Franklinton community. Last but not the least, FAD also has been working closely with the Neighborhood Design Center to develop a public art master plan to program public art installation in the future. As a pioneer of art, Franklinton will be one of the first neighborhoods in Columbus to have a public art master plan.
