ARTIST STATEMENT

In my eyes art is an explosion that is the result of your imagination contorting with the tornado of influence that can take order and disaster and join them into colorful traumatic splendor. With my art I look to dive from the top rope onto the canvas through my formula, soft colors and dark accents that shape figures, faces, or even the hazy state between dreaming just before you arise from the pastel nightmare.

In my art there's almost like a secret duality with the use of only pink and blue colors I've had going through the process of applying even amount create different layers or details that slowly come together in formula of sorts that involves putting a lot down and taking it away when I see fit.

But along side my soft color pallet exist the darkness of the bold, sharp black lines that are in a way me defacing my own work like spend so much time using the paint to come up with these faces figures only to come in and cover them by scratching out any notable features turning something from slightly recognizable into unknown objects in mirror of your memories museum.
