FRANKLINTON FELLOWSHIP

The application period for the 2022 Franklinton Fellowship has now closed.

The new Franklinton Fellowship is a part-time fellowship program (20-25 hrs/month) for early-career, community-focused visual communicators (animation, graphic design, motion graphics, new media design, photography, video production, & web design).  Fellows work directly with the Franklinton Arts District Marketing Committee and Executive Director on projects specific to supporting the organization, the arts and artists of the District, and the neighborhood. The Franklinton Fellowship is aimed at cultivating the next generation of highly skilled creators who care about their community. Fellows will receive $4,000 for their participation in the fellowship.

An ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in their medium and be living, working in, or have a desire to serve Franklinton. Candidates will submit a resume or CV, letter of interest, letter of recommendation, and portfolio for review by the fellowship coordinators.

HEIDI CLIFFORD
Graphic Design

ABOUT HEIDI
I’m Heidi, aka Primary Child, and I am on a mission to cover the world in colors. As a muralist and graphic designer, I bring color to the world, connect communities with art, and balance play with art-making. My body of work includes murals, acrylic paintings, and digital illustrations, and I am influenced by florals, experiential art, and Fauvism.

I’m originally from northeast Ohio, and came to Columbus in 2014. I attended CCAD for Graphic Design, and since 2018 I have worked as a freelance Muralist and Graphic Designer. Aside from making art, I enjoy finding good tacos with my family, playing with my cat, and traveling when I can.
